The iPod FM transmitter is Ideal for my car.
Down side:
The reception picks up static in certain locations.
Depending on the location of lighter the view of the iPod window is not easily visible.
It's movable positions are up and down, not left or right.
Up side:
No need for expensive stationary car radios.
I have the music I like at my fingertips, which is much more convenient than a CD changer.
Charges the iPod while in use.
Removable, Ideal for my car's security.
All in all this is a great accessory!

I had this in my car for over a year until the company brought out a new one. It functioned great and provided music for two road trips. The comments about static are silly. Of course there will be static when you arrive in a new town, but finding a new station could not be easier. Would definitely recommend the product to friends.

Bought this from Amazon, worked for 4 months. I say worked...even when it functioned, it was awkward. The way the arm which plugged into the power port or cigarette lighter would only pivot up or down. This made the screen almost unviewable in my vehicle (Buick LeSabre) It was so cheaply made that by the time four months came since purchase this piece of junk had literally fallen apart! the arm and its joint had fallen off! The little foam pads which were supposed to grip and hold the iPod touch in the cradle had moved outward and fallen off, from very mild warmth in the car.
I would suggest anyone considering this item to look elsewhere. Don't waste your money on this

I ordered this ipod car transmitter so that I can listen to my ipod in the car. It is very easy to use and although the sound quality isn't crystal clear, it is a great deal for the money.

Mine broke after a couple months, I took it apart and fixed it, a few weeks later it died altogether. I called to see if I could get a replacement, and got the run around and no response from the company. So I got to use it for about 3 months and now I have to buy another one.
