 Excellent FM Transmitter with a few Manufacturing flaws. Jun 02, 2009

Pros:
The device works very well as an FM Transmitter and the output sound quality is excellent.
The extras that come in the package such as clear screen cover, and soft case make it worth the purchase.
The Aux cable provided is a great solution if you are looking for a way to output audio from your iPhone, iPod to a sound system without any extra purchases.
Cons:
Initially when opening, the device seems to be made out of cheap plastic.
The packaging is also flimsy and cheap but the product stands on it's own merits.
Even though it is specifically stated that it's made for iPhones, the grippers don't expand enough for the iPhone and can hardly click once to clamp in. The plastic grippers can be removed to make room but you run the risk of damaging the iPhone.
Overall it is a worthwhile purchase.

This product arrived on time and in good working condition. The transmitter works very well - sound quality is as good as other similarly priced iphone/ipod transmitters. The plastic cradle, however, does not work so well. It's cheap plastic, and the adjustable feature of the cradle arms are as good as nothing. I tried to adjust the arms and now they're stuck. I can't pull them out anymore - they seem to be stuck forever. So if I want to keep using the transmitter, I have to find another way to support my iphone. I emailed and called this seller, and no response whatsoever. So considering the transmitter half of this product works, for a mere $30, I got exactly what I paid for, no more, no less.

The design does not seem to take into account the dimensions and weight of the iphone. While the rubber adapting device seems to fit securtly in the cigarette lighter, the weight of the device makes everything fall sideways (clockwise or counter clockwise)as you drive. Maybe this is just the case with my car but its extremey inconvenient. Furthermore the iphone does not stay put in the cradle.

myGearStore: No audio cord (the one that plugs into your iphone headphone jack)provided and no reference to this by the seller! I bought this device because it was advertised for iphones to play music through the car stero AND double as a hands free device. Neither the seller nor manufacturer informs the buyer that the cord is NOT SUPPLIED. You must pay for an addition cord in order to talk on your phone hands free. I called customer service at MyGear. The representative was defensive and proceded to blame the manufacturer. Nor was he receptive to the feedback about how they advertise this product on Amazon.
Manufacturer: the packaging is suspect, flimsy, and contains no product information or list of included items inside the box. The only instructions provided are vague and printed on the outside of the box itself. Ironically, the picture on the box features the very cord they neglect to mention does not come included.
PROS - When the device is connected and not falling to one side...the transimtter works well and provides clear music.
