5for pokemon fans  Jun 27, 2006
I love all the pokemon games, and this machine gets you all the stuff you want and need. Despite all the guides I bought, and me and my friends traded for hours on every pokemon game availible, we still came up short on the number of pokemon out there. This system alows players to get infinite master balls, rare candies, boosts all your pokemon up to level 100, plus you can make it so that you can catch any pokemon in the wild like mew and celebi on level 2 and make them up to level 100 so it is really great, I would buy this, I totally recomend it

1Buyer Beware  Mar 05, 2007 By James Badger
When the manufacturer of this particular product wrote in the fine print that you should not activate too many codes, they weren't kidding. If you activate more than 5 codes at any given time, your game shark will crash and will never be useable again. I've tried just about every method for recovering a crashed game shark, including the "cloning" technique on the game shark website, but none of it brought my game shark back from the dead.

I don't have a problem with the fact that the folks over at game shark made a product that crashes when too many codes are entered. I just wish that 1) They were more forthcoming about this information and 2) They would explicitly state that 5 codes is the maximum number that anyone should use for any particular game. The 5 code rule mainly comes from the web boards where thousands of unhappy customers have voiced their disgust for this product.

When I first bought this game shark, it worked very well. The interface was pretty straight forward and the codes generally seemed to work. Then I made the mistake of activating a 6th code in one of my games and I haven't been able to bring my game shark back from the dead.

5Take it from an experienced gamer.  Nov 27, 2006 By Silvergirl
I've had about four years of experience with gamesharks in the past, and this is one of the best ones I've had! This model (Madcatz Gameshark GBA Carabiner) is an improved design from the older boxier versions. I have been using this on my Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and it is a huge timesaver! I would suggest though, that you be careful when using it. Some codes can have a high chance of possibly ruining your game and/or gameshark. I suggest looking up a gameshark guide on sites such as gamefaqs or ign to get more info on which codes are the safest to use.

5Great but BEWARE  Dec 01, 2006 By M. Clancy "ezdots"
This Gameshark is great. Be sure that you do not turn on more than 10 cheats or the Gameshark will crash and require a replacement.

5Gameshark works the best.  Nov 08, 2006 By V. Sanders "dara rael"
I have owned many different cheat devices since I started gaming and so far I have found gameshark to be the most reliable.
