| | Description | Griffin's AeroSport Armband is the ideal--quite possibly even the perfect--combination of features and wear-all-day comfort that is demanded by runners, walkers, and athletes of every stripe. The AeroSport starts with a light, silky, flexible armband of super-wicking stretch fabric, cut wide so it stays put comfortably. Adjust it to fit your arm, slip your iPod into the included detachable case, and clip it to the band. The case provides full screen protection and can be used apart from the armband. Griffin has even included an ingenious cord wrap that takes up the slack in your headphone cable, keeping it tangle-free. High-visibility reflective accents keep you visible for safety at dusk or dawn. | |

Not completely satisfied Jan 12, 2009
By JodiT. This armband is ok but it is nearly impossible to operate the click wheel while the iPod is in this case. The plastic covering is either too thick or too rigid. They should redesign it so the plastic over the wheel is more pliable.

strong product Sep 10, 2009
By Tim Morey Works great! I was concerned (from other reviews) that the thumbwheel might be hard to operate through the plastic shield, but it works great. That the case clips on to the armband and is easily detached is a bonus, as is the clip for wrapping up the excess cord from my earbuds. If you have especially large arms the armband might be a little small, but not a concern in my case . . .

Works fine in the gym, but. . . Feb 24, 2009

This is my first armband and I must say, it was a great purchase. You are actually buying 2 things in one. It can work as an armband AND can also work as a clip on. There's an attachment for the earphone wires so it doesnt get in the way. I work out 6x a week and after using this for the first time, I'm loving it. Its light weight, doesnt get in the way. I only have one comment about it and I second J.Thurman's review about the thickness of the plastic. When trying to scroll through the menu, the thick plastic prevents you from doing it with ease. I sometimes find myself go into a different screen. They should either make the plastic thinner or have an opening for the wheel. But overall great product.

great for athletes who have playlists Jan 28, 2012
By runner only one complaint, but many positive qualities.
the good: armband is secure, so doesn't bounce during intense physical activity (i am an avid runner); nano is clipped onto the armband so it doesn't get sweaty (which is a problem with the nike armbands and the silicon skin covers); there is a thing to wind the headphones cord around so it doesn't flap (i haven't seen this feature on any other armbands and it is very useful); ipod does not slide out of the case (i used to have to wear the nike band upsidedown because the ipod would slide down, limiting my access to the click wheel); access to the hold button toggle is clear.
the bad: while it's easy to change songs if you just click ahead, adjusting the volume and anything else that requires sliding the wheel is really tough. best to have a playlist going that doesnt have songs whose volume you need to change.
i would buy again but it looks like there are better armbands available for the next generation nanos.

Very badly made, fell apart after 1 month use. Apr 12, 2010

The materials used on this are pretty cheap. Very nasty looking. Quite comfortable to wear, but this fell apart within 1 month of buying it. The glue holding the clip for the velcro strap fell apart. DO NOT BUY.
