I bought this portable speaker for my iphone 3G. It is advertised as compatible but when I connected my phone to the speaker, I got a warning message on my phone, not made for iphone 3G. It did work, but sound was poor quality. I contacted the seller and was told to ignore the message it was compatible, (even has a sticker on the speaker saying this). I was not comfortable with this advise, sent it back and the company refunded my money quickly.

For all devices other than iPhone, this device is probably GREAT! I, however, bought it to use with my new iPhone with which the description claims compatibility.
True: It will play, and the sound quality is pretty good for the size and type of device, but upon plugging in my phone, I received the message, "This device is not compatible with the iPhone 3G. Switch to Airplane mode?" Of course, I decline b/c what's the point in having a phone if you cannot receive calls? When calls come in, the device gives that annoying electromagnetic buzzing.
In addition, my phone didn't charge. I was listening to music in my office...and then I wasn't because my battery died.
Very disappointed. Returned product.

Pros:
When listening to iTunes the remote works great.
Cons:
You do get the error that it is not compatible, and all you have to do is hit ignore.
I have only gotten both speakers to work intermittently.

I was so pleased with this product, price and delivery that I sat right down to write this review. The extra $10 for shipping was well worth it. It's exactly what I wanted for a portable stereo. Hey, in my book, for $29.99 sounds fantastic. Size and weight is great. Looks great, no bigger than a standard flashlight. Not sure about other reviews. Works fine with my I-phone, Love the fact it's battery powered and love the extra input so you can use in standard I-pod cradle or via input cord (included). So far... couldn't be happier. No buzzes, no BS, no problems, GREAT value (and I am a fussy customer when it comes to music and accessories).

I ordered this speaker to be used with my iphone. It works great with it and the sound quality is excellent. I just ordered one for my husband's nano and one for the office.
