If you're looking for a light blue silicone skin for your generation 3 nano, this one is as good as any. You can still use the track pad on the ipod so you'll never have to remove it from the case.

There is nothing much to tell --- it works. It does what it is supposed to do, and that is, protect my daughter's iPod Nano, except for the screen, but one can see that.

This little silicone cover is great! It makes it easier to find my I pod if I drop it. More over, it stops the I pod from sliding around on a hard surface. Neat item!

My kid's ipod skin. She said she couldn't use the wheel with the protective cover over it, so I cut out the part of the skin over the ipod thumb wheel, then she could use it much better.
Trouble is, after that the silicone skin tore thru at the thin gap between the top or 12 o'clock part of the wheel and the bottom of the display. This very thin area tore and she tossed the cover.
Manufacturer could leave the thumb wheel area open and even narrow down the thickness of the skin as it approaches the rotary thumb wheel. This would help if they left the area open at the thumb wheel as one's thumb wouldn't get in the way of the skin. Bigger thumbs may be more of an issue than small ones. Along the same lines the maker could thicken the silicon material at the corners and around the LCD screen to offer further protection against drops on hard surfaces.
I liked the color, the fact that it protected the case, but it was too hard to use. My modifications didnt' alleviate the lack of sensitivy of the skin thru the thumb wheel as the skin just tore afterwards. Perhaps a plastic ring, thinned down, molded into the skin in a diameter the same or larger than the thumbwheel would solve it, if the manufacturer reads this. Thats what I'd do to make it better.
