The item was shipped to me and the case doesn't even close. It doesn't even fit the ipod. Then the case looked used and old.

I got this case and it barely fits on my I pod nano 5th generation. I'm going to have to push one of the tabs down with a screwdriver to get it to close all the way. I don't think I'll ever be able to take it off again. I am very disappointed with it. At least it looks pretty.

Bought this after it showed up in my search of screen protector for ipod nano. I can't give it zero because it is cute and does protect rest of ipod. Don't most people want to protect the WHOLE ipod?

I bought this for my ipod Nano 5th generation back in March 2010. I am a little surprised to see the low reviews it has received as I have no complaints about this product. True it doesn't come with a screen protector - but those things are pretty cheap separately. The case fit my Nano perfectly and I'm still using it to this day. The design is beautiful and I've gotten several compliments on it. It isn't a "rugged" case, but it has protected my Nano from those careless drops I have had once in awhile. To those who are looking to buy this - just know that this is more a product about personalizing your Nano over protecting it. If you really want to ensure the "safety" of your ipod - look into getting a rugged/thick case.

The shipping time was better than I expected, and the product looked even better than I remembered. My 12 year old had some trouble fitting it onto her ipod Nano (5th Gen) but I haven't taken a look at it to see if she is missing something in her excitement. Not a bad purchase at all. I am very satisfied.
