| | Description | The Eco-Runner for nano 5G is a case for the environmentally conscious jogger or exercise aficionado. The unique armband design looks like muscle fibers when you put it on your arm. The armband extension strap allows this case to be worn on your wrist or upper arm, and a bottom adjustable strap allows this armband to work with the Nike+ Sport Kit receiver. The Eco-Runner keeps your nano secure while providing comfort for an active day, all the while reducing your carbon footprint. Plus, Eco-Prene material used in the armband is actually more comfortable than neoprene, and better for the environment, too. What’s so great about Eco-Prene? Eco-Prene is made from innovative sponge-like limestone. This is combined with recycled rPET to create an end result which looks and feels like neoprene, only far less toxic and more sustainable because it doesn’t contain high levels of petroleum or PVC. This material meets all RoHS standards, and all adhesives used in this product are non-toxic. | |

Great item! Feb 03, 2010
By C. A. Hakim I bought this for my iPod because it's pink! It fits snug and the flap covers the bottom well. I wear the flap facing up so I can see the screen better. I run and no sweat gets through to the iPod. I like that I can wear it with or without the extension for two different uses. The pic shown is without the extension, for use on the wrist.

Great case Jan 10, 2010
By mini-number1 it is a wonderful case very comfortable and iv used it for almost a month and seen no problems quality wise. the only thing i wish for is that there be a hole for the head phones on the bottom of the case cuz its open on one end with a velco flap to cover it and i like to put my ipod on hold so i found my self taking it in and out all the time till i poked a hole for the headphones in the other end. other wise wonderful case
I love it! Mar 21, 2011
By Jennifer This is great! It fits nice, and has an adjustable and removable strap, it is comfortable and stays in place, and it kept my ipod dry for the wettest LA marathon ever! Thanks little guy, couldn't have done it without you ;)
Huge disappointment Aug 21, 2010

I ordered to go with my pink ipod. I was very disappointed when I received it. As far as receiving it quickly, therer's no doubt that the seller shipped it in a timely fashion. I received it much faster than I thought I would. However, as far as the item is concerned, I am highly disappointed. It looks like it is poorly constructed. It comes with two different velcro straps which is nice. You can strap it to your upper arm or to your lower arm. I tried both and didn't like either way. Prior to buying this product I either stored my ipod in my sports bra or on top of my treadmill when exercising. Not a big deal since I have a home gym. However, I wanted something like this incase I wanted to take my work outs on the road. The ipod fits snugly, which is nice. You don't have to worry about it falling out. However in order to switch to different songs or play around with the menu you have to remove the ipod from this carrying case because there's a thin plastic shield that prevents you from being able to just scroll through. My previous MP3 players' armband worked better. It fit inbetween a plastic piece so you could reach over and hit buttons to scroll through. I found it very cumbersome to have to stop running, remove my ipod from my arm, remove it from the case, scroll through, etc. Another thing I noticed is that when I used my pedometer it didn't pick it up while using the arm band. Which is interesting. My ipod's pedometer worked when I had it resting on my treadmill but when I had it in the armband it detected 4000 less steps than when on the treadmill or in my sports bra. I think if they revised this it could work. If they cut out a little area in the clear plastic window so you could scroll through your music it would work better. If you want to purchase it simply to carry your ipod on your arm and nothing more, well then it's worth it.
not a good purchase Jul 09, 2010
By lex I have worked out with this product for maybe 2 weeks. And it has already broken...the clear plastic part in front of the ipod...is coming out.
