 Great "All in one" case choice Dec 28, 2009

I would give this 5 stars except the changing of the "convertible" case elements is non-intuitive and is not explained in the instructions. Once you figure out the "trick" to changing the cases they work easily and it is a great option for having a clear shell case for the 5g nano complete with cutouts for the video camera lens on the back, the hold switch at the top and the wheel control and connector at the bottom. Using the trick you can then swap out for the "clip" back which can be used for your belt or to attach your nano to the nicely padded, comfortable armband if you want to take your nano for a workout.
For those of you who might have this product and are considering using a jackhammer to switch cases... the trick is that you need more than one person. At least we did. If you're really dexterous you might be able to do this by yourself. The problem is with the two little locking notches at the bottom of each of the clear shell backs. In order to be able to remove one of the backs and swap it out with the other you need to lift the two edges of the front piece up and away from the back to release pressure on the locking notches so the back piece can slide out. This was easy with one of us pulling on the two edges of the front piece (as viewed from the back of the nano) and lifting them up and away while the other slid the back plate out. I hope this tip helps others who might otherwise be frustrated like we were at first with the product. Now it works great!

I received this case/armband quickly for the seller. I thought the quality of the plastic and armband to be high. I had purchased the pouch for my Nike+ sensor from Marware and though that was good quality too. I usually don't use the armband but I found it to be comfortable. I mainly wanted a see through case with a quality belt clip. I have been working out with this case for weeks now and have had zero problems. I would recommend this case and I would purchase from this maker again in the future.

I love this clip and armband. Not sure why others are having so much trouble changing from the smooth covering to the clip and vice versa but for me it's been a snap. The clip holds securely on my waistband when I'm running and equally well on the armband. This was a GREAT value. It even comes with a clear protector for the jogdial since that is exposed in the clear case.

This armband is versatile and durable. It allows you to see the color on the iPod which is nice, and it also allows the iPod to be clipped to the armband or clothing. The case is form-fitting so the iPod maintains its sleek shape, and it is a breeze to disconnect from the band and carry on its own. By far the best i've seen on any armband for any generation.

The arm strap is a little small, I don't have over sized arms so it works great for me. So just keep in mind if you have big arms the arm strap might not work for you,but the iPod can be clipped to your waste or wherever you prefer!
