1do not buy: this charger burns out iphones!  Apr 24, 2010 By Patient Shopper
This charger burns out iphones and should be removed from the market:

It worked adequately for me for a couple of months, and then my iphone went dead while being charged with this device. Iphone was in warranty and Apple replaced w/o charge; the Apple tech commented that he had never seen an iphone so dead. I wasn't sure the charger caused the burnout, so I kept if for emergency use. Three days ago the second iphone died while being charged with the device. Apple replaced again, but warned that they now regarded this as abuse rather than defect and would not replace again w/o charge.
