 Great bluetooth for the cost Mar 03, 2011

My Husband Who is a Trash Collector+truck driver combination loves this Bluetooth headset! The connection set up was fast and very easy. The tone and volume because his hearing isn't real good any more has worked extremely well for him because of the way this inserts into the ear canel as a hearing ade would instead of sitting beside the ear itself.He's contastantly jumping in and out of the truck all day, driving, picking things up and connecting dumpsters to a power take off unit on back of the truck he's always moving around and making a lot of noise. This unit once he sets it in place first thing in the morning doesn't need to be reset in place as he goes along doing his job. He easily can be at least 33 feet or slightly more away from the phone without being disconnected.I definately would get this model again if we need anther one. Oh yes the setting time when not being used is great yet talking time is also longer than most others he tried before this one. It was well worth the low price.

Having an earpiece is like having an extra appendage for me. I use it constantly. I have tried other types/brands but I find myself coming right back to this one. It is just the right size and feels like it is barely there. It usually last me about a year. I spend a lot of time on the phone and the fact that it lasts me that long is impressive. I Love this bluetooth!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!

This has been an ok headset, although the volume is sometimes a bit faint - not the best for noisy events or big traffic. It has had decent battery life contrary to some other reviews. But best of all, it recently went through a full washer and dryer cycle in my pants pocket, and still works fine. That earned moving the rating from 4 to 5 stars :)

I purchased this item after reading the reviews/ratings and ofcourse the reasonable price. But it is not as good as what is described in the reviews. It creates a lot of extra noise (like a typewriter in action) in both the caller and receiver's end even if you keep the device as close as 1 foot from the cell phone. I am happy that I could make a hassle free return of the item to the seller and my experience with the seller as well as Amazon is good.

For those who receive a unit that will work consistently, it is a great buy. Sound quality is pretty good (great for the price) and battery life is fine. Unfortunately, mine lasted about 4 days of use before it stopped connecting and refused to turn off. I thought a recharge might help it, so I fully charged it and tried again to connect to the my phone - no luck, and then to turn it off - again no luck. Now I guess I'll wait for the battery to die and see if it somehow resets and works again after that. I've had several Plantronics headsets in the past and the only issue I've ever had has been with the charging connection once they get old. I thought when Plantronics switched to micro USB that it would solve the charging issues, but after using my Voyager Pro for a year, it no longer connects well for charging. And now I have a problem with this unit functioning at all. I think I'm done with Plantronics, time to give some other manufacturers a try. I've had much better durability out of my Samsung headsets, but people complain about not hearing me very well when I use those, so I think I'll give one the Jawbone units a try. But if this unit had not stopped working, it would be a solid 4 star performer.
