I don't know what the other reviewer was smoking, but these headphones are crap. And I mean it. When they arrived, the left ear didn't even work. I had to fiddle around with the base of the headphone plug, squeezing, bending it etc. until i could get it to come on, and now its just on-and-off whether it works or not. The sound quality isn't unbearable, per se, but it's definitely subpar - worse than the quality of ipod headphones, for instance. It kinda has this hard to describe, idk - tinny or canned or something sound about it. The sound isolation sucks - its better than a non-isolating headphone, but it definitely doesn't create sound isolation of any kind - skullcandys, for instance, blow these out of the water. They are fairly comfortable in your ear, however, so no cartilage cramps etc. - which is definitely a positive. Also, the headphones I got actually look different from the item pictured in the product description.
Now, I guess I don't have that much room to complain about these considering the price ($4), but I guess that's the whole point here - you get what you're paying for.
To sum up...
Pros:

+ Fairly comfortable

 Sent me the wrong item TWICE! Jul 22, 2010

BUYER BEWARE! BargainCell (although it says eforcity in the ad, my order was fulfilled by BargainCell) sent me a different set of earphones than what was pictured, proceeded to make me wait nearly 3 WEEKS for the correct set of earphones to be "restocked," then sent me the identical wrong set of earphones! In the end, when I offered to return both sets of earphones for a refund, BargainCell would not issue one because, according to them, I had "received the product(s) for over 30 days. The warranty period for the product you have purchased has Expired." Both sets of earphones much like BargainCell's customer service were extremely disappointing. Despite BargainCell's 'bargain' price, I will never make a purchase from them again. I suppose I was the fool for paying $2.99 and expecting anything great...Universal In-Ear Stereo Headset, White
EDIT: I was issued a full refund a few days after writing this review. Unfortunately, it's like slapping someone in the face and then apologizing...damage is already done.

These headphones should not even be sold, they should be taken of the market. I got them because they were cheap and my husband needed some replacement headphone. I thought maybe they would hold out a couple of months until we could get some better one. Didn't even last a week before they broke. You get what you pay for. Just go ahead and sped another 5 bucks and get some that will last a few months.

I had a pair of ear buds that looked exactly like the ones in the picture. They were good quality, so of course I was a little skeptical that these ear buds would be the ones I had, but they were so cheap that I decided to risk it. And of course, you get what you pay for. I was most annoyed by the dishonesty of the seller in showing a picture that did not match the actual product being sold.
Do not even bother with these, they are the worst quality I have ever heard and I gave them away to the first person I saw after receiving these. Do not even get these as a last resort. Seriously worst sound quality ever.

I saw How cheap that these headphones were and they are brand new. What A great buy! NOT! I read the reviews and most of them were not good. They said They didnt work and they would blow out right away. I refused to listen and decided t buy them anyways. Dont be like me and save your money! Because every penny counts. These SUCK sooo bad its not even funny. You would be better off to just spend a little bit more and get some working headphones! The volume does not even get high. Unless you like having to try so hard to hear your music dont buy these! I threw them away. GARBAGE!
