Nice item for the price Aug 05, 2010
By Cadguy I bought this bullhorn to yell at boaters leaving wakes in front of my house. The recorder feature is perfect for this, when they hear "ATTENTION BOATER....YOU ARE OPERATING IN A NO WAKE ZONE.....REDUCE YOUR SPEED" they think its the cops about to ticket them. Hours of fun. The only thing is the louder the volume the higher the distortion, but for eighteen bucks and change its a good deal.

Works for me May 31, 2010

"Deluxe"
To be honest I bought this to "call out" the idiots of the world as I cross paths with them: People who throw trash from a moving vehicle People who can't drive My Korean neighbors who run a church service from their apartment People who honk their horn instead of ringing a $&$&@! doorbell etc, etc So for my silly purposes it's AOK, but it doesn't seem powerful enough to command armies with. Sounds a bit "tinny" too. Hope this helps. I'll see you on the freeway.

Great Item for kids starting summer Break Sep 10, 2011
By Jeff M A+++!!!! I bought this for the start of Summer Break and while our Kids were less than enthused, I was tired of talking and it's been great fun. The main feature was the voice recorder and play back function, which I use so as to not have to repeat myself. "Time to get up, time to get up, time to get up...". And you can adjust the volume accordingly. "Clean up your room, Clean up your room, CLEAN UP YOUR ROOM!". Sadly, after just a few days of the bull horn talking directly to their brain stem, it was no longer needed. They were moving-out the first time I said something, and if not "Do I need to get the horn?" sped them up. Even our Labrador listens better now. The Bull horn rules!

a megaphone of beauty Sep 13, 2011
By Aireekah LOVE this megaphone. I bought one for the bar I work at and brought two to Burning Man. While it isn't as good for heckling people from moving vehicles as my 40 watt megaphone, it is great for heckling while walking, making music, and a bit of instrument amplification. Don't expect the same punch as with larger, more hardcore wattaged megaphones, but for what it is, it's great. Super portable, doesn't weigh too much, impressive volume, and has held up to a lot of abuse so far.
