The product works as advertised. Sound and video quality are both good. The only problem is that you cannot play Netflix videos with the use of this cord. Really the only thing you can play with this cord is the videos you have stored on your iPod. I don't know if there will be an update for Netflix to allow you to play movies on your TV through this cord. So if you are looking to play Netflix videos or any other streaming content with these cords, you will not be able to.

i have an ipod classic 6g and it works great on it. the cable is thick to avoid interference and the plugs are gold plated. excellent product.

I used this cable with TVOut2 app. and my ipod touch 4g and FW 4.2.1 and works perfect with my 42" LG plasma and my 17" insignia lcd.
The aditional USB cable is a nice feature, I do not have take care about the battery because always is connected.

I moved into my new apartment and don't own anything except a Macbook and a cable-less TV. Even though I didn't want a TV in the first place, my 4 year old niece and nephew sleeps over every once in a while and I didn't want the reputation of a boring auntie without "Blue's Clues". These cables seems like it doesn't function well for iPhones, so don't consider buying them if you own an iPhone. But the kids' father (my brother) owns an iTouch 3g and he puts educational programs for them and it works beautifully. I own a iPod Classic 6g with 160gb, I watch my movies and it also works flawlessly. So we're all happy, no need for a Apple TV. Oh, and it only functions if you own a modern TV. It's not the 90s anymore so keep up.
