2Hope you don't need to use the radio  Jul 30, 2011 By M. Small
$39 plus installation. CD player, aux input work great. Plenty of power for 4 stock car speakers. Radio is atrocious both FM and AM. The worst tuner I have ever heard, period. I have a $2 novelty AM/FM headphones with a far better radio tuner. I get one station, the close one, great. Not just on it's frequency, but mixed in with the 30 other FM stations I used to be able to tune. Open frequencies have a mix of at least 2 local FM stations at all times coming in and out. I can't get any other FM station clean except the one, there is always at least a hiss if not the closest FM station noticeably mixing in with the other stations. I even have FM interference mixing in with my Sirius car radio when it broadcasts over FM! Tried AM for fun. Forget it. I get the one local station 10 miles away on EVERY single AM frequency. No radio presets either. I never have experienced a car radio that was anything other than quite good before this one. It was the last thing I was expecting to be an issue. I'll have to run the radio on my mp3 player to the aux input to actually listen to FM.
I'd look elsewhere if I could do it again.
