OK for occasional use Jan 06, 2010
By Amy Weierman My husband and I each have one of these and I'm not too crazy about it. The plastic sticks to the screen so much that it's nearly impossible to get the iPod out. So, if you're just going to leave your iPod in this, I recommend to put it in the sleeve with the bottom of the iPod facing the pocket opening so that you can sync and charge it without having to attempt removing it. You can control the iPod through the plastic, but it is not super-sensitive like you'd like it to be.
The little velcro pocket for the nike + ipod sensor is nice. What would be nicer would be if there was a pocket or elastic band on the little thing for storing the receiver that plugs into the iPod.
Finally, I fell like I work up a 'normal' amount of sweat when working out. This armband becomes saturated and there is no moisture barrier to protect the iPod.
So, what are the 'pros' of this, if there are so many 'cons'? It fits nicely, it is comfortable, it has a pocket behind the main pocket where you can put a key, ID, a couple of bucks, it was reasonably priced and seems durable.
Bottom line, there is probably a better sports armband out there, but after looking on Amazon for a few days and reading all the other reviews, it may not exist.

Tune Belt Armband Feb 17, 2010
By Tri Dad Tune Belt armband has worked great. I have about 15 inch arms and it fits perfectly. I use it with the Nike Plus sensor and have never had a problem. My only issue would be that the wheel is very difficult to operate through the plastic. Outside of that, it is perfect.
Great combination armband plus Nike sensor case May 19, 2011
By M. ANNE Bought this as a gift and my son tells me it is extremely useful; he uses it every time he goes out to run. So far it's holding up well.
LOVE IT! Oct 14, 2010
By G8orade This Sport Armband is exactly what I was looking for. The band is great for a small to medium sized arm and lays nicely against my arm. It's smooth and not bulky like other armbands I've had in the past. Before I purchased it, I read some complaints about how the clear plastic covering sticks to the nano and made it difficult to move the nano from inside the pocket and take back out again. You just have to pull the covering away from the nano and it slides out easily. The extra pocket in the back is great for money or a key. The extra holder for the extra earphone cord is a great idea to wrap the cord around in case you have a long earphone cord. It stops the cord from getting in your way as you run or workout! Very smart idea! Sometimes its hard to adjust the volume, but overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Not very happy at all Aug 10, 2010
By C. Pattison I own the tunebelt for the 3rd generation ipod but recently upgraded to the 5th generation which meant a new arm band. I went from LOVING my old tunebelt to HATING this one. Wish I could return it. I have used it 3 times and I do not like how hard it is to lock and unlock my ipod because the hole at the top is so small. It is VERY difficult to take my ipod out it sticks to the plastic really bad. I was excited it was tight but trying to get it out is tricky. It is very difficult to use the sensor on the ipod like trying to turn it up it doesn't recognize my finger and if I try to push harder to help it then it ends up stopping my song or going to the next song depending on where I am pushing. I'm mad at this product and feel like I wasted my money big time. :( I also have noticed that the velcro that holds my head phone on is very cheap and feels like it's going to come off at any second.
