The average buyer needs to stop thinking in terms of saving a buck or two and start thinking about quality.
First of all this seller is a shady crook as he used a stock Apple cable photo instead of the actual garbage he sends you post purchase.
When I received the cable I was dismayed by the quality of the cable. It is a product that belongs in a 99 cent discount store. After using it I could not manage to get the cable to stay connected on the female receptacle of the charger. the prongs on the male cable would not secure itself to the iPhone.
Pure Made in China garbage.

Don't be fooled by the photo, I bought this cable thinking it was an OEM product like the picture and photo described, and when I received it, I was dissapointed by the quality. After the first week of using it, the connector housing came apart. If you are looking for a good quality cable, this one is not it!!! Got what I paid for this time.

the cable I received worked for about three weeks before I threw it out. It looked exactly like the one that came with my i-phone but it didn't last long. Don't buy it.

The first cable was DOA. The merchant called me and said that he would upgrade the cable and include a bonus charger for my incovience. He said that he had had a few bad cables and did not want them out there. I recieved the new upgraded cable and charger today. He made good on his promise. Thank you
