 A manufacturer who actually listens to customers Dec 11, 2008

When I received my first delivery of this product (2 chargers, no cables as described by others) it simply did not work with my 2nd Generation 32Gig iTouch. It would not charge the unit and actually caused it to freeze up when plugged in. I chalked this up to a bad experience and figured I had wasted $10 + shipping in a classic "you get what you pay for" experience. I ended up buying the much more expensive "genuine" Apple charger which worked just fine. I posted some negative feedback regarding this product and company so that others might avoid the problems that I encountered (which duplicated the negative experience of another reviewer.) Imagine my surprise when, a few days later, I received an e-mail from the manufacturer asking me to explain exactly what problems I had encountered so that he could rectify it. I responded with all the pertinent technical details and was informed that the company had discovered some incompatibility with one of their chips and the newer generation iTouch/iPhone. They were working on a solution and would send me a replacement product when it was ready. Two days ago the replacements (2 chargers) arrived at no additional cost to me and so far, so good. The new units appear to function as well as the "genuine" Apple version at significantly less money. With this new information in hand I now feel that this package rates serious consideration as a far less expensive option for charging your iTouch/iPhone away from your computer's USB port and based on that I think it deserves a five star rating with all things considered. A very bad initial buying experience turned into a pleasant surprise.

This product is as advertised and works well. It is very small and compact and at $10.00 for two (+$5.00 shipping), the price is certainly right.
Note that it looks very much like an Apple branded power adapter but is not manufactured by Apple. This didn't seem to affect its performance. Also, the seller does NOT try to represent it as manufactured by Apple
Also, note that...

Works with some cables I bought from eforcity on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CSRBXS)
Agreed that they look very much like the apple chargers from couple years past. Box even looks like an apple product. Works with iPhone 3G no problem. Has retractable prongs. White. 2-pack. No cables.
My note is that it took a really LONG time to arrive. I think 4 weeks total. But then it arrived in this small manilla envelope with Chinese characters all over it (reminded me of the envelope that Jones Sr's diary arrived in from the Last Crusade). Apparently straight from Hong Kong

One of the two chargers I received works just fine. The other does not. In fact, the one that does not work made popping sounds when inserted into the outlet, and I thought sure my iPod was fried. Fortunately, the iPod was fine. I knew they wouldn't be Apple quality, but a little more quality control would be appreciated.
The seller does not provide information about processing returns, so please let me know how to return the faulty unit for one that works, please, DreamBargains. I would appreciate it. If you can rectify this situation, I would gladly raise my rating to 5 stars, as I am happy with the performance of the other unit.

I originally gave this item a bad review since my wife, who I bought it for said it negatively affected her itouch. However, I find that she has been routinely using it for some time now and it works fine. So, sorry folks for the bad review...it's a good product.
I can't change the one star I originally gave the product, if I could I would give it 4 stars!
